KUDOS - The 2006 Spring show season will be a busy one, with lots of new faces in the show string.  Look for us at:

The Virginia Classic in Lexington, VA in March

North American Alpaca Show in Springfield, MA on April 1-3

MaPaca Jubilee in Harrisburg, PA at the end of April

PAOBA Breeders Showcase in York, PA in May

and AOBA in Louisville, KY

We hope to report on many kudos by several young members of our herd!

Births:  Fall births brought 4 new girls, a daughter of  Black Peru. Royal Forest out of Mia Silvia and 2 more in the Quechua line out of MFI Deja Vu and My Peru. Maggie Mae.   MFI Macharena gave birth to The Sandman's first daughter.  Spring births are due to start late March or early April.

2005 - The Highlight of the year was impressive showings by two of our young males at the Blue Ridge Classic: Mysterian taking 1st in a large yearling class and The Aviator winning a 1st and Reserve Champion in the Light Male Division.  Then at the Empire Extravaganza, Sandhill Mach One took a strong 2nd in his very first outing in the Juv. Gray Male Class.

4-H:  We were really proud of our 4-Hers who worked hard all Summer and exhibited excellent showmanship and sportsmanship  at The Great Frederick Fair.  We look forward to resuming our project meetings again this Spring with several youths.

Congratulations to Meadowgate Farm Alpacas (NJ), El-Rich Alpacas (NJ), Whistler's Glen Alpacas (OH), Alpacas Atlantico Ranch (NJ), Alpaca-Lin Acres (VA), Butterfly Hill (VA), Alpacatopia (MD), and many others who chose us as their source of quality Huacaya breedstock in 2005.
